OSCARS The grand award show of all! MISSES and HITS

The glamour! The fashion! The social elite! The hard working! It all adds up to the OSCARS! That's right Fashion Industry Club at Baruch has your first dibs on the Oscars before anyone else! So did anyone see Sasha Barren Cohen spill the fake ashes on Ryan Seacrest? And ladies and gentlemen the trend was Ladies in White and Men in Black, with the exception of few that popped out in colors! Let's get started....

Stacey Keibler in Marchesa! Well Ms. Keibler I believe you have given George the only Oscar he needs ;). The gold on Stacey is stunning. I also see the bow/flower trend is back. (Not too crazy about that) BUT the flower/bow and the gold is how we can tell the difference between Stacey and the Oscar statue. George is wearing Armani. Stunning man.  

 Michelle Williams in Louis Vuitton. She looks darling. The style suits her! And a pop of color!

 Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli Couture dress! The color of this dress, can we say LOVE IT. The way the dress drapes on her body is also perfection. BUT not too crazy about that bow.

Here come our "innocent" ladies all dressed in WHITE! Even though it wasn't color like many predicted, they looked amazing! 


Gwyneth Paltrow - Tom ford gown. So sleek, so fitting, clean cut. The bracelet on her arm perfection. The cape!! The most bold thing on the red carpet! I love the cape! But it was a close call from the gown being too costumey.


Jennifer Lopez- Zuhair Murad gown. JLO u are sexy! (BTW jlo went to baruch woop woop). But Im going to say too sexy for the Oscars. But this women's face is always flawless


Octavia spencer- does Tadaji Sojo again. And I love it! Sophistication and glamour this woman looks like a million $.


Rooney Mara- Ladies and gentlemen Rooney is wearing white I repeat Rooney is wearing white. Now this was a nice surprise. Rooney is wearing Givenchy. I love that she finally stopped wearing black dressed but this dress looks limpy on her. Yet her face is stunning!

Viola Davis-  I am in love with her dress and the color of it! The perfect jewlery and the change of shape of the dress from top to bottom is just beautiful. Beautiful.  (I would have loved if the dress didnt bear her breasts so much) OH and before i forget she is wearing Vera Wang gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Judith Leiber clutch .

 The king and queen Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Angelina is wearing Atelier Versace gown with Neil Lane jewels and Jaime Mascaro clutch. I must say big dissapointment from Angelina Jolie. At the golden globes this woman was perfection. Now this black velvet dress is a big flop! And did she get even skinnier? Brad u look handsome! And younger than ever!

Sandra Bullock- wearing  Atelier Versace gown with Neil Lane jewels and Jaime Mascaro clutch. For me she is a best dressed nominee. This dress is vintage and just so sleek and stunning. Its sexy, sophisticated, vintage. Go sandra!

Melissa Mccarthy- in Mariani Rinaldi Gown Best dressed nominee  for me. She looked stunning. She did something new and fresh and it worked for her!  This dress screams out vintage glamour!
